accessible Civic Access Commitment

Accessibility Statement

Gunda Lakshmi Devi’s public archive aims to serve citizens, researchers, and press correspondents in both English and Telugu. We strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidance where technically feasible on this static site.

Measures supported

Semantic landmarks, heading hierarchy, and descriptive alt text on archival images
Keyboard-focusable navigation, mobile menu controls, and visible focus indicators
Bilingual typography using Noto Sans Telugu for Telugu script blocks
Responsive layouts from 320px to large desktop viewports

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds (social platform links, remote images) depend on external hosts. PDF or TIFF downloads require future backend integration. Report barriers via official contact.
